Installation & Setup

Level: beginner

npx -y @modelcontextprotocol/server-filesystem /path/to/allowed/directory

Prerequisites: Node.js 18+

Security & Privacy Notes

Strict directory whitelisting. Cannot access directories outside the explicitly specified paths.
