AlsoClick Content & Takedown Policy

This policy defines acceptable tool submissions, automated health checks, prohibited technologies, and our formal intellectual property notice-and-takedown procedure.

1. Scope of Acceptable AI Tool Submissions

AlsoClick indexes legitimate AI models, APIs, developer tools, productivity suites, creative engines, and web applications. All submissions must:

  • Provide a working, secure HTTPS URL to an active web application, documentation, or downloadable release.
  • Accurately specify features, platform availability, and pricing models (Free, Freemium, Paid, Free Trial).
  • Provide legitimate screenshots and branding assets owned by or licensed to the developer.

2. Prohibited AI Technologies

We strictly prohibit listings that facilitate harm, deception, or unlawful intrusion, including:

  • Non-consensual Deepfakes & CSAM: Any software designed to generate explicit sexual depictions of real persons without consent or any exploitative material.
  • Malware & Phishing: AI systems built to create automated malware payloads, credential harvesters, or deceptive impersonation scams.
  • Mass Scraping of Private Personal Data: Applications specifically marketed to dox, stalk, or scrape confidential personal information without consent.
  • Counterfeit or Pirated Model Weights: Tools distributing cracked, stolen, or proprietary models without authorization.

3. Tool Health & Automated Uptime Monitoring

To prevent broken links and abandonware from cluttering user search results, AlsoClick operates an automated background health monitor:

  • Active: Healthy destination responding with normal HTTP success codes.
  • Temporarily Unavailable: Repeated temporary downtime flags the tool with a maintenance banner so visitors can explore active alternatives.
  • Discontinued: Tools that have permanently closed or become unreachable are labeled Discontinued or removed from directory discovery.

4. Copyright & DMCA Notice-and-Takedown Process

AlsoClick respects intellectual property rights and adheres to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you are a copyright owner and believe material on AlsoClick infringes your rights, send a written notice containing:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  2. The exact URL of the listing or content on AlsoClick claimed to be infringing.
  3. Your contact information (name, address, email address, telephone number).
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner.
  5. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Send copyright and takedown requests to: support@alsoclick.com. Verified takedown requests are investigated and actioned within 48 business hours.

5. Product Updates & Ownership Claims

If you are the developer or creator of an AI tool listed on AlsoClick, you do not need to request deletion to make corrections. Simply use the Claim This Listing button to verify ownership and gain direct update control, or use Suggest an Update to submit revised logos, descriptions, or pricing tiers.
